Is there something you want to know about it? Imagery Analysts need very good vision. Most people I know that fail out of that training, is due to them not being able to see small details. (No, I'm not Imagery, but I do work with them, and my training was at the same place as them.)

I have terrible vision actually. I am waiting to get the lasik or prk done. I can't yet, but i will be able to in a year or so.

So is it actually vision or attention to detail.

Plz tell me whatever you can or perhaps get someone to talk to me about it? PLZ? I'm looking to retrain, and this sounded pretty interesting to me.

No. Xray tech is well Radiology Specialist.

Imagery is looking at spy photos and the such trying to find stuff IIRC.

IIRC, he is a 1st termer.

Also, dont forget anything in the medical field. You'll get a VERY marketable skill and after you get trained you can get out and make 4-5 times more money depending on what job it is.

Bump it up.

I'm still in my cross training window. I'd really like to talk to someone about a few jobs. If i can make money on the outside in medical I am all for it.

But imagery analysis is still critically manned and it sounds like a decent job.

That was my number 1 selection for retraining.. but due to the AF retarded depth perception test I was turned downed.... Funny thing was I passed 3 differrent off base depth perception tests after that and every other one on/off base before... think the kid that gave me the test was just retared....

I got deployed, i will miss my cross training window because of it. I need to do the physical but they said it has to be done at home station.

I'm not sure what to do now.

thats BS I know plenty of people that have done their cross training packages while deployed, well I guess it depends on where you are depoyed to... Dont let them hassle you you should be able to get a physical at almost any deployed base as long as you are not in the middle of no where or on another services (ARMY) base that could cause some issues..

Correct. I just got a hold of my supervision back at home station. He said the same thing. He said it'll be tough for a SRA like myself to convince a Staff at the hospital. He said get with a doctor face to face to tell them the situation or I'll tell a SMSgt. I work with to come along.

That should work...if not, I need to fill out paper work for an extension.

This is ridiculous though.

LOL yeah doing it deployed is a pain dont be afraid to use your chain of command, thats what they are there for. I had a SrA that was trying to cross train on my last deployment, staff stripes had pretty much no pull for her so I got a few Chiefs involved and as was good LOL

Ok, so it looks as though I need a color and depth perception test. I'm not sure if I can get around that. I already did it in MEPS, but apparently that doesn't matter, which is retarded.

I guess if they don't have the equipment to do it, then what? I think I will have to extend my enlistment to do this at home station, because I will be out of my cross training window.

I better call my sup. again.
