Talking New Ink for Fallen Soldiers.

Ive been planning this for a while, and finally found a good artist to pull it off, and i thought in light of the things that have happened recently, i should put it up in here..

(BTW, I was Active USN from 99-04)

For ALL Of our Fallen Brothers and Sisters, You will NEVER be forgotten!!

PS- Dont mind the sock, it was right after it was done.

very awesome!!!

Forgive my question, but I have never served, but saw the same "picture" at the Ft. Hood ceremony. Is this what they do on all fallen members of the service?

BTW thank you to all for keeping our freedom!

It is a Fallen Soldiers Display or the "Boots-Rifle-Helmet Memorial". The helmet and identification tags signify the fallen soldier. The inverted rifle with bayonet signals a time for prayer, a break in the action to pay tribute to our comrade. The combat boots represent the final march of the last battle.

Ohhhhh good. I need to get my piece done and it will have the memorial in it but itll be a smaller version. I really like the color/blending in your background.
