if thats what you want and you got it, more power to ya
get a bonus for going bravo?
91S (stryker) work in same shop as bravo's most of the time. I met a few bravo's that reclassed to sierra and got good bonuses
bravo's do alot of QAQC bullshit, and swap tires, mirrors, and lights 90% of the time. downrange you'll start to see real mechanic work like engine/trans/diff jobs

wheres your shop located, jheath?
we had the big motorpool next to the firing range in the SW corner next to the 4ID motorpool and the last of the CHU's. Our unit just finished rolling out 2 weeks ago, got replaced by some stryker unit from Alaska

I was 63B (now 91B) and I do miss it. 9-5 job and working on the trucks while BSing in the motorpool was priceless.

Just got back from Afghanistan working as a 91B, I'm a 91A Abrams Mechanic but all i did was work on pls, lhs, matvs, maxpros, all that stuff. It's a good job, points are kinda high for e5 though. If you like doing oil changes, door adjustments, full services, motor swaps, dif swaps and stuff like that then you'll be just fine lol

I graduated from 63s and had to convert to 91b to hold the Motor SGT. slot I'm in right now, our jobs 91s the old 63s and 62s I think are some of the best jobs to have. Yeah we have long hours but hey, who else is gonna pay ya swap motors out, and learn to work on heavy junk along with light junk. My advise to you is once you get to a shop learn as much about your MOS and the rest of field of our MOS's.
