Hit me up with a pm also. Have any of ya'll had your trasmissions rebuilt in Valdosta? I will be coming home soon and need to get mine rebuilt.

Go to T-56 rebuilds...they are a sponsor on this site..I haven't heard nothing but good things from these guys. http://www.t56rebuilds.com/

OOPS! N/M I just saw that you have an automatic... I have no clue on that one. You might as well buy a stronger one like the "TH400 with FMRP Valve Body" I just looked that up. Seems to be pretty strong.

Or you could go to that Transmission place on North Valdosta on the right hand side on the way to I-75.

Few ricers that tend to float around Valdosta. I've seen them @ O'Reilly's on Saturday nights when we used to all meet up there. They have 1 or 2 fenders missing, mismatched paint and shotty body work.

Sounds good! My buddy dave just got a Red 99' Lightning this past weekend I'm sure he'd be down for the car club. I also passed a PM to a Mod about posting the club site link on ls1tech.

Cool, we do have another lightning in it too, I work with him, not sure the year though. Hopefully we will be able to get a good number right of the bat, it might take a few months to get the word out,,,,,,,,thanks for your help! later...

Thanks I have looked into a few thing hear and there but I was just wondering if any shop could build me one to last. I dont want another stock one I have been through 3 allready.

There is a place all the guys use to have there trans rebuilt, I know he even does them for the race cars. I have heard he is really good and not expensive at all. I will ask who it is and p.m. you, i cant remember the guys name!,,,

I'll be back from deployment in a couple weeks, I'm stationed in Beaufort but am in Valvegas every weekend, the gf lives there. Have to keep an eye out for yall. My car is a 01 Z28 pewter, with TTII's, a big stick with dumped duals

The red one is in germany and I just totaled it last week. The one that is in valdosta in black and in storage.
