Got an assingment to Moody. Should be there in early October. What is the winter like there. I'm stationed in Colorado right now and the car pretty much goes into storage when it gets cold here.

There are 2 seasons in south GA... Summer and almost summer. Trust me, it says warm all year round, and humid as all get outs! But you don't have to put your car in storage ever.

Yep. Finaly got here about a week and a half ago. The last leg of my trip took for ever. High Point N.C. to here. I think I may have floted the valves in my 89 K5 Blazer. It didn't really like the first 700ish miles of trying to keep up with my wifes A4 at 90mph on 33's. With any luck my T/A will be here this week end. A friend is going to deliver it from N.C. to here. I cant wait. The car should run great down here. My 929 sure does like the altitude mod. Thing runs like a bat out of hell compared to life a 7000ish feet above sea level. Are there any cruse spots here. The area seems nice. And I really dig the weather.

We usually meet up at advanced auto next to sonic on bemmis on saturdays at 9pm. This saturday I'll be in Tallahassee though. There might be a few people out there.

I wouldn't come here unless you want to hate the Airforce. I'd try Charleston for my BOP.

And the poor upper management can't be any worse than here. I work for a Reservist. I have nothing against reservists, but this whole transition to a Reserve Wing under BRAC has gotten completely out of hand for some of us active guys. Bottom line...they want us to work by the hour (ie: keep track of time, sign in and out, etc), as they do, during regular hours, but as soon as there is overtime or work on the weekends, they want us to be active duty...so they can tell us we have to work because they can't work overtime. ****'s gettin old, and I'm ready to move on. I'm seriously thinking of dropping a BOP for either Moody or Hurlbert Field.
