they probably will. the investment in you really dosnt matter since your contract is up. they will be loosing it anyways if you get out, so letting you change shouldnt be a big deal

Are you Active duty, guard, reserve? Nowadays they will do just about anything to keep you in, so if to keep you in you need to change your MOS, then they probably would. I have approx 6 MOS's right now. 31k, l,u. 79t, 95b V5 (MPI), 92y, 42a. I am forgetting one. But you get the idea.

Oh man. I was a 31U before I reclassed. I know all about that messed up combining SSG Stealth.

There is always an "Exception to Policy" that can be implemented. But right now you don't really even need that. They are hurting bad for Soldiers and will bend over backwards to keep you in. Plus they really need combat troops so that greases the wheels even more.

If you are a SGT or SSG by the time your ADSO is up . I really donot see this happening unless you go SF or DF . But Things could change by then.

Talk to your 1SGT he'll talk to your company commander, and if he'll sign the paper work you can reclass if you are not needed there. Or if you find a slot for promotion in another MOS
