Default Funny military license plate

I was driving behind a soldier on the way home this afternoon and here is what his plate says.

IH8LEGS

Thats some funny ****!!! I cant believe someone made it their tag number. If you dont know what it means dont ask me, go ask your local 11 series soldiers, I'm sure one will be happy to tell you.

Well this is at Hunter AAF, no black hats here. He had a special ops sticker on the car too.

The Airborne guys used to screw with us all the time at my last assignment about us being "legs". So one of us made some cadence that we sang at morning PT that was called "superleg" I don't remember the words but it was in tune with one of the common airborne cadences. **** was funny.

Thumbs up

I was in a straight leg unit when I was in Korea back in the mid-70's. This would be 1/9 Infantry...Keep up the Fire! And yeah, I've got the belt buckle (only 9th Infantry units are allowed to wear it) and the Manchu brass tags that go on the epaulettes. BTW: I was a "Gravel Aggitator" for 4 years (11C40) but ended up in a tank battalion (4.2" mortars for the 6/32 Armor) when I went to FT. Carson back in the day so I know about Mechanized units also.

FWIW: Mechanized units are cool but leg units RULE! Hump an 80 pound rucksack and part of an 81mm mortar up and down yamas and you'll know what I mean.

Since proper english is not a prerequisite for butt kicking, I'm sure you can whip any paratroopers ***, even if they are 11BP
