I'd rather have dry california heat than humid texas heat. How good is the car scene there?

NHCP was my first duty station, after Corps school & what was then called FMSS.

I went to ODS/S with 3rd AABN (Tracks), Delta Co. (the guys in 29 stumps).

true...you get used to it. From what I have seen there is bit's and pieces, the usual military junk cars some drive, but I have never been stationed there, only been there for a couple months at a time. All in all 29 palms doesn't have alot to offer and most people get away and don't come back till monday. You'll find your niche... there is lots of off limit places there off base for good reason in town so most leave the area for the weekends.

A friend of mine was a doc in VN, 66-67, operating out the Chu Lai area. Good fortune to you!

I'll 10-4 that as well. Since 1965 when I received my orders. I wonder how many men and women have received orders?

Waiting on phome with SS, I learned there were 50 Million people receiving some assistance from SS.

If you ever get down with your surronding please remember millions and millions folks just like you have gone through what you are going through now. Don't give-up, don't quit, don't bitch! I say that because you're better than most of the others. We made it so you can too.
