Bought this car for $500 when I was 15..

totally transformed it in the last 3-4 years through highschool.

1998 Firebird 3.8L to LS1 swap, Mild Cam, headers, LS6 Intake, lid, bmr suspension, wheels, cloth to leather interior, custom stereo, wheels etc.

Love this car put all my hard earned pennies into this thing.

Forgive my ignorance but what is that cog belt running?

 

It is a GZ Motorsports vacuum pump! I really needed it on my last LS motor which had a good bit of blow-by. The LSX has none. The pump works. It creates a vacuum in your crankcase that helps with ring seal and horsepower.

All I get out of the LSX crankcase is some clear liquid that smells almost like turpentine or paint thinner? I think it is vapors mixed with condensation.

 

2000 Camaro SS. 38k miles. Only mod is k&n air intake. Future mods will be full suspension, subframe connectors, performance brakes, etc... Focused on Spirited Daily Driving & Autocrossing.

larger diameter for higher spring pressures

Cometic 4.16 head gasket copper engine assem... blueprint, assemble Lsx racing engine to exact racing specs.

New flexplate... 6Bolt hd flex plate for 6l90e trans to mate to
dragonslayer 58x with 6 new bolts

ls7 to ls3 intake. Mates ls7 heads to lsa intake design ls7 head part kit contains lash caps for titanium valves, ls7 specific rocker arms at 1.8 ratio, rocker arm
bolts, spring locators, and upgraded valve
seals.

Nitrous direct port up to 400 shot.
