A buddy just showed up with his vette, it was a base 06 c6 but converted to z06 (susp. and all the goodies) built LS2 with a magnacharger est. 650-700 rwhp going to the dyno soon.

What a ******* beast! That is the most awesome car ive ever rode in!

You can't convert a base C6 to ZO6 (especially if the base car is a convertible), only imitate. Interior is nasty, spoiler is the same, wheels are eh, supercharged LS2 is cool though!!

bad *** ride! the interior would be fine if he just left the yellow stitching on the seat but all the other yellow ahh way to flashy. and yea "fake Z06 badges" come on..... thats like me putting SS badges on my Z28 if i was to get the hood and rear spoiler.

i agree he needs to ditch the Z06 badges. That is not even CLOSE to a Z06. He appears to have body panels and some suspension work. Frames are different on a Z06, the Z06 has a fixed roof. sorry but he can have the panels but the badges need to go. Otherwise, love the car minus the interior. What did he do to the brake lights to get the outside 2 to light up and not the middles? i plan on getting Z06 shocks, i make more hp then a C5 Z does(stock), should i throw on some brake ducts in the back and slap on Z06 badges? i called out a guy with a C5 Vert that had Z badges on it. He's like, no it's a Z06. i told him to check the codes. No LS6 code, only LS1. said if it was a Z06 with a conversion then it would still have the LS6 code. Plus his was an auto. Guy would have put ALOT of money into it to convert a Z06 to an Auto Vert. Would have been cheaper to swap in the LS6. i hope he didnt PAY for it thinking it was a Z

lol he did not buy it thinking it was a real z06. I agree with you guys its not a real z06 and he shouldnt have the badges on it but its up to him, im not gonna rip em off

And the Interior, it might be a little to much for some but I dont mind it. But, if it was my car and I bought it with stock interior I wouldnt do it..
