it was.
for SNES there's Super mario world, super mario world 2, super mario all stars (all the old NES super mario games including the never released in the us super mario lost levels aka super mario 2 in japan) top gear, rock and roll racing (think RC Pro Am) and a whole slew of others. i have over 100 games on my hard drive for SNES
There is an N64 emulator out there that plays goldeneye though. i have that too. the emulator is Project64

All very good games.... Ive been trying to find a game I thought I rememberd as a kid. You build your own tracks, with jumps and such, and can pick like a buggy a car or a truck......
No matter how hard I try I just cant seem to find this game. I was almost sure it was on SNES, possibly Sega 16bit, but.....Does anyone recall a game like this??
By the way great game ideas keep em comming!!

Pro AM and excite bike were NES, not sure if i remember Nitro. The game I played very well could have been an import or a micro company's game and not an official game. If anyone remembers, JVC made a console that also played sega games, and at the time everyone was trying to compete in the video game market.
But I would know if it were those games, I remember customizing my "car" which I usually picked the monster truck, and then building my own track for it.....
Could it be that I dreamed of this most awesome game ever??? Or does anyone think it could have been a micro manufactured game?? I remember I rented it, and never owned it. I was probably about 9 or 10.....so this would have been 15 or 16 years ago....
Any other thoughts.

Perfect Dark for the N64 is a lot of fun. A couple friends of mine and i have been playing Perfect Dark, Mario Kart 64, Goldeneye, and all the N64 Mario parties with a laptop hooked to a 42" TV, a logitech PC gamepad, a wired Xbox 360 controller, and a PS3 controller with its wired charging cable. It's pretty damn close to the feel of hooking up to an old school N64.
