To me that is pretty realistic...You ever take a new car that was supposed to trap xxx mph to the strip...takes a while to get her their...

You know a car is fast when a 11.7 at 125 mph is a BAD run..LOL

You're the optimistic one that piles up "fastest facts" in every thread.

130 seems pretty normal

What a treat to catch both of those cars running against eachother! I figure either they were running in poor conditions or both drivers haven't got used to their cars yet.

One of my closest friends has a H/C/I '08 ACR and thing is wickedly fast. Makes me wan't a Viper in the future.

If I could afford it, I would want a ZR1 AND a Viper as well.

Why not?

I agree. Everyone gets caught up in what a car should run and forgets that it usually takes alot of practice for the average person to get there.

Cool vid!

I announce the races at the local track, I get guys with new vettes or vipers or Bmw's, some AMG's, and even porshes. They bring their tech card to the tower and normally explain what they are driving and that they have or have not been on a track before.

My favorite one was this 09 Grand Sport vette, He said its not much 400 plus to the tires and I am one hell of a driver. ( sorry LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL )

He aqsked me what i thought he would run? I asked him if it was a stick, how much HP, have your driven the car down the track before ect. Oh S*^T Man i am a pro I havent taken this car down but i race all the time

I said well you should go low 9's in an 8th

He said 9's ???? naaa 7's or low 7's maybe ( i was like... WOW Really? Rock and roll then man)

He went 9.20 at 86

We watched a bone stock ZR1 last fall at Memphis run 11.20's all night long at 129. Young guy driving it and still had paper tags on the back. Most people had no clue it was anything special. Hell, I didn't even catch it until I saw the window in the hood when he was letting it cool down between runs. It was dark out and I saw it drive by a couple times, but honestly thought it was a Z06.

I would rather have a C6Z and a 99 GTS...
But I guess an ACR and a ZR1 would be good too.

Both need more sticky tar.

Viper is definitely sick no doubt though.
