My friend has been looking for quite a while and finally found just what he wanted. I snapped a few pics last night just in his garage (not registered yet). I'll get some nice pics once it's on the road and we can find a good spot.

These graph are with the current tune (20 and 24 psi) and it needs a race gas mix. He is going to have it retuned for pump gas and is hoping for 430-440.

Nice car ! The body style brings back memories of the 79 Buick Regal 301 v8 I had. I got into so much trouble with that car. I couldn't imagine being young and dumb again but with a Gran National. I'd have lost my license for sure.

They are rated 245 flywheel (the 87's were at least, not sure about the 86's) GM High Tech Performance recently started modding a stock one and it dynoed 208/256. The car ran 14.3 @ 93 mph though, which seems like a low mph for those cars. The car did have over 100K miles on it though. I think they usually trapped in the 97-98 mph range.

Very clean GN, and apparently is pretty damn fast by those numbers haha. My buddy's aunt had an authentic GNX with only about 7,000 miles on the dial. Damn i loved that car, it was worth some money too. I'd love a pro-touring GN myself.

I noticed the sticker by the third brake light....
"The Heartbeat Stops Here"
I had a bracket around my T-type plate back in the day that said that... The plate itself said LATR ZR 1.... Ahhh the good old days when a 12.50 car (with tires) ruled the street....
