And I have to hand it to you...I thought those wheels were CCW SP500's. (NOT C5 Y2K DD). Well done, sir!

They were gloss black with the chrome lip but after a few curb checks they need some help. I was gonna get rid of them but I really wanted to see some powder coated wheels, so I had them done in Matte Black. I think they came out good. Some guys swear there spray painted, and others ask me about weight so... anyways Im pleased.

Yeah, suncoast creations I believe. I know he has the suncoast hood, and my co-worker has that filter on his LQ9 WS6, but honestly that was the first one I saw on a camaro, and there huge.

The WS6 has the raptor hood so yeah it looks like he gets a ton of air/dirt/small rocks but the camaro and the suncoast cowl hood I dont see how w/o the ram air.

Oahu is not the biggest island, but it is the most populated. We have three major highways and are forced to use those for fun since our track closed in 06. Us LSX guys are forced to compete with a huge mustang and import crowd and ofcourse the folks that sport the exotics. Were trying to fight the political battle to get our track back, but the politicians think we are just a tiny group of enthusiast here.

 

Are these covers hand made or did he buy them somewhere?

the stock ws6 lt1s came with this setup im keep it for my ls1 swap i dont like a lid conversition, and nice pics

 

Read somewhere that 6le designs makes them, but they are way over priced and need some trimming to look good. I made mine from a 13$ sheet of lexan. If I can get some interested buyers I'd consider make some up, but I am in Hawaii so shipping cost might hinder that thought. Pm me if interested

Yes OE DD c5, but u can't buy this color. They are Matte Black powder coating

 

yea ive checked their website it looks good but kinda over priced for an ear filter..

 

sorry guys just seen these and mentioned to me by Steve who owns the red SS.that big filter is on my z28 m6.I was running the suncoast creation hood with that setup.sold the hood awhile back and replaced it with a VFN wide sunoco hood.
