Parking Structure Photoshoot

Needed to take pics for a calendar pic entry for a smaller F-body forum. Problem? It was raining for a week. No suitable covered areas or parking garages were found in the area during the weekend. Solution? Detail car in office parking garage after work, while wearing black button-down shirt and light beige slacks due to lack of extra clothes, then take pics in said parking garage. Extra bonus? Stopped raining that afternoon for a few hours, therefore roof shoot was an option. It rained the next day. These pics were taken with a Panasonic DMC-TZ5 point and shoot and some sloppy editing done in Photoshop CS5...

P.S. Wish that damn rapist van didn't have to park there.

That car looks awsome, seeing it has a hard top with a T/A spoiler is a nice change,How did you get the front plate filler panel to be smooth? Layer it with fiberglass?

Thanks for the compliments! ![Grin](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_grin.gif)
I took the wrong and difficult approach by cutting the bird out and sinking it back to be flush, then filling in the remaining low areas and sanding it smooth... Using the wrong sandable filler. Thankfully I had 6LE make a mold before the plug started deteriorating and copy of it so he can reproduce it out of plastic/urethane/fiberglass if the demand was there. You can't see it in the pics but if you closely inspect the piece you can see flaws appearing in the drivers side top area. I had asked for months here on Tech how to patch a hole in the bumper material and everybody kept telling me fiberglass (which is the WRONG choice for thin flexible plastic)... So then I go and do something about it, posted up the pic of the plate and asked for thoughts on paint match, and then two weeks later somebody posts their own shaved front plate in the appearance section and then asks why I didn't use a urethane repair kit...
Figures.
