so a friend told me about some mini dv cameras that were VERY cheap. i got mine from ebay for $11 bucks shipped to my door from china! i know for $11 bucks the sound and video probably wont be better then the GoPro, but you could mount this to ur drive shaft its so cheap lol. and you wont be out 300 buck and be mad when it breaks...

video has some jello effect at higher speeds. could be cuz my mount was not the best.

and might as well forget about the sound...almost all wind noise, might be better inside the car or if you but some tape over the mic.

It is only $11 so I can't say it isn't worth it but it won't get you any really useable footage either. Was worth a try.

Sorry, it was a cool idea, but you can't beat the original. The HD video is insane, the sound is pretty good considering the camera is stuck out in the open, and the as long as you aren't a moron, the camera isn't falling off the car. You would sooner rip the fender off by pulling on the camera when it's mounted before it fell off. And the case is waterproof too.

Do you guys not see that this thing is $11 dollars??? I just bought one!! No duh it isn't as good as the gopro, but it is $11. Pretty awesome. I will just keep it in my car in case a race comes along and im alone.

I admit, the video quality is pretty shitty compared to the gopro...but for $11 its quite a nice compromise. I bought one also

Kinda need a separate audio source due to wind noise (the GoPro HD seems to have pretty awesome sound capabilities all things considered) but for $11 I'd say that is pretty sweet. Cheap enough to buy several and mount all over the place, could cut together some pretty cool videos I'd think.

Yeah 11 bucks is cheap,but I agree ,no chicken soup with chicken **** lol,if you want to make vids and have great quality its gopro or bust imo,11 bucks is cheap though
