Default My new Dark Star Rims - Viper Red SS Camaro

Sorry about the picture quality. I just finished up the car this evening and was eager to snap a few pics. Fought a nasty fuel rail leak for most of the day as well.

New darkstar rims. 17x4.5 and 15x10. Hoosier QTP's on rear and Hoosier Pro Streets on the front.

Had to cut the bump stops completely out and do the BFH mod. Also rolled the fender via cutting + a rubber mallet. I don't really recommend this though as you can see a crease in a few spots on my fender now but it's not absolutely terrible.

Finally, someone got the 17/15 combo in Darkstars on a Camaro. A friend and I have the same combo waiting to go on our cars., can't wait to mount them.

Nice looking combo! Does anyone know if there is a weight difference between dark stars and Weld ProStars?

We have the same halo headlights. I wish we could wire them to the running lights, but then they'd have to blink, what a terrible way to do drl's gm.

Haha yea I got them also.. Was one of the first people to put them on a 98-02 Camaro. I enjoy them. They seem to be getting popular but I have also gotten heat for the headlights.

I've been told they are ricerish.. but the fact of the matter is I love "dark" headlights and this was the only option I could find aside from putting blackout covers over my stockers.

Here's another picture from tonight. I did a slotted rotor install with new pads. I'll try and get some pics of them in the morning with some sunlight.

It went 11.4 @ 120 cam only with the stock suspension in place. Since then it's lost 100 lbs, gotten full suspension upgrades and lost another 75 lbs or so. I also added a 175 shot. It dyno'ed 411 on the motor and 579 ish on the 175 shot.
