I don't follow him but from some of what i have seen it's not his goal to preserve much. There are people on here and a few local guys that has had them hold together for years. There was a test in hotrod or engine masters where they tried to kill one and couldn't at a power level to easily run 8s.

If he was clearly trying to grenade the motors then why was he upset that two of the engines only lasted 2 passes? I think you’re mistaking the third engine for all of them. The 3rd one lost oil pressure and he purposely took it to the track to blow it up during a pass but it couldn’t even manage to get on the two step so he blew it up purposely during a burnout. The motors before that one he was not purposely trying to blow them up.
