There wasn't many that had the ls6 engine block, give it up man heads don't designate the engine at all. If that's the case then I have an iron block 6.0 ls1 oh wait there is no such thing lol

So when didnGM build an iron block ls1? How about an iron block 6.0? Besides never?

So the few fbombs that came with LS6 blocks were LS6 ENGINES? What heads came with those blocks? Exactly. Checkmate, bitch. You're a complete ******* dumbass, MAC. I love how much it crushes you and some other's souls that Hammer has an LS3. Keep the menstrual blood flowing, fucksticks.

No matter how much you back them you will forever live through their success. And by success I mean phills and hamski bc they are the only ones doing anything. You're too busy dodging races ever since you lost to a 4.6 2v and hio can't keep any of his engines running long enough to get new slips. Everyone else is too afraid to show up at a drag strip.

Correct me if I'm wrong but GM didn't make any iron LS1 5.7 blocks. The LS1 and LS6 were both 5.7 liter aluminum blocks with a 3.898 bore. The 6.0 liter had a 4.000 bore and came in aluminum LS2 or iron LQ9 and LQ4's. The LS platform has small bore aluminum and iron engine blocks such as the 4.8L and 5.3L which had a 3.78 bore. The iron small bore blocks could be bored to 3.898 or as much as 3.905 and any of them would make as much if not more power and torque NA or boost over the 5.0 liter.

You gotta be able to beat a mustang gt from the 90s first man. Just focus on that and then get to the track and learn how to drag race at the drag strip

True but you can just run E85... it is very effective at pulling the heat out of the cylinder. It still doesn't cool the intake charge on a DI system but that isn't really where the issue is. I have yet to hear of a SBE LT1 failure on E85. Several on 93...too much compression imo for the tight ring gaps. Very little room for error in the tune above 7psi. Meth is a must if not running E.
coming from a boosted LT1, I’ll tend to believe what you’re saying compared to others here that might claim it’s all very simple. Both cars make good power on boost, 5.0 just seems like the cheaper platform to do it and doesn’t have problems going 12psi on 93. But a good portion of people use a booster for peace of mind. Fuel system to support most setups on E85 go for as low at 800-850 bucks new. Way cheaper in used market

For sure...I try to keep it real and unbiased.

My 2002 came with LS6 block and LS6 intake. It had 241 heads and the 6.0 cam. Pretty common...some still had LS1 blocks as this was a transition year. Just depends on the build date I assume. It's nothing special really...the LS1 block was actually a little stronger.
