When did John Doc put an sbe motor in his 5th gen? I haven’t watched his channel in months. His accent/lisp (whatever the **** it is) is extremely annoying.

The gt500 engine would probably be worse off than the coyote. It's gonna need a crank to spin to the rpm it's gonna need. Really probably furds best engine for strength and rpm is the termi motor. A built one of those would likely fair better than a coyote.

a stock gt500/5.4 3v/navigator 5.4 crank can handle any rpms. they are all forged.

Everything i have read on them the crank gets wonky above 7k rpm....or atleast bottom 7000s are it's reliable limit. It has a 4.165 stroke. That's alot of piston speed for what it is above 7k.

By your logic you can use a 5.3 block . Sleeve it to a 4.125 bore, use ls7 heafs and crank and it's still a 5.3.
