Ls2 easy, what ever the engine started out as before you changed the stroke on it is what it is after the stroke kit is finished. Not a hard concept but considering who isn't understanding it I can see why.

wtf does it matter if its an l33/ls1/ls6/ls2/ ls3/ ls7 block if the bore is the same by way of sleeving, or not in the ls7? I would hope the block fell into his lap somehow, as an ls7 bare block is possibly more new than a bare ls2 new and then sleeved from what I last saw, or at least close enough getting the better liner is worth the ls2 direction. Thats not to mention used ls1/2/l33 blocks for under a 1000 being an option

That's not hard. You know this. Starting with the ls2 block. Alum 4.00" bore. Stroker 4" crank. No problem with details though. Ls3 heads. So sounds like stroker ls2. 402ci. Using ls7 4" crank. With ls3 heads. Would you designate it as an ls3? Lol.
thats the point, whats ls 2 about it that matters? the bore lol? Who GAF about a 4 bore when you got xyz heads on it with whatever matching intake? Last i remember heads/induction are what make the power not the block at least within any reasonable range of displacements, you know like a difference of 12 cui... Would you rather have an LS4 BBC or LS6 BBC? I mean by your arguments here it is the same engine "cuz block"...
