gallardos are sweet. I know a guy who has one with the F1 shifters on it and we went 150mph on Coast Hwy here in California, oh yeah with the windows down! The car had plenty of go left and literally felt glued to the road. Awesome car! Very refined though....not quite the wild crazy lambos of the 90's.

Don't the Gallardos have "Viscous Traction"... meaning it's a RWD until a loss of traction is sensed, then power kicks up to the front wheels? If so, it'd make sense how they were able to do it on a RWD/FWD dyno.

It's not like you buy those cars because they are "bang for the buck." You buy it because you have a ridiculous amount of money and want to show it off. Besides 490HP isn't all that shabby, especially in a 3200lb car.

BTW. Yeah, you were right about how it works. Rear tire(s) starts to slip the power is transferred to the front. Basically like a limited slip. Hope that helps some.
