I love the sound. Aren't they supposed to be 2.5 liters when they switch to the 8's?

Was it hitting a rev limiter at 20002 rpm? It didn't sound like it broke...

2006 f1 season they are 2.6 liter v8's

Simply Amazing....the internal forces on the rods, crank, and pistons has to be insane at 20K rpms!

The piston speed in a Nextel Cup car is actually about the same as an F1 engine because of the much longer stroke. I love those F1 dyno movies!!
