Good info unit. Love the car. I was actually watching your video over again, and the video posted of that sick 03/04 doing that massive burnout, and the idea hit me... I have an '88 LX hatch and it would be awesome to have an 03/04 motor setup powering it. Weight wouldnt be an issue at all then. Looks wise it wouldnt be the Trans Am, and the interior and ride wouldnt be as nice I'm sure, but it would make for a very fun project that should move nicely. Lets see some nitrous pulls now. When are the tires coming in and when are we going to see some track times?

We did a similar swap in a '93 Notch, however we got rid of the eaton and fabbed a custom turbo setup. This particular cars runs 9.0@155 mph and is driven about 75 miles roundtrip to and from work every nice day in the summer.

This is one car you do not want to tangle with on the street.
And it definitely is raced on the street. There aren't many guys running
9.0's at 155mph out on the roads.

Unit, awesome vid. Just curious, what's the reason in not going with a KB 2.4l? not worth it? Too much coin? Advantages/disadvantages? I know jack about cobras so i'm not trying to be a dick or anything.

I bought my KB lightly used with an Accufab TB for about $1K less than it would
cost brand new. It also included a custom oil spray catch can. The KB's
are known to spew a little oil from the snout. That's resolved with the
catch can.

Advantages? None under 23-24psi really. I won't push the stock motor
that hard so a 2.4L is essentially useless for me.

Sweet video, man. That car sounds unbelieveable.

It makes me miss mine, though. I had to sell mine after only a couple months due to my health problems. I didn't even get to mod it or anything.

Thanks. It's a lot of fun to drive. The MT DR's hold the power pretty
well on the street...enough for some neck snapping runs.

I caught your post about that in the Lounge. Sorry to hear that you
have to face some adversity like that. Best of luck to you my friend.

I bet that thing must hurt your neck when it hooks. I just sold some drag wheels/tires a little while back I would've let you have 'em cheap just so I could see you go run some 10s.

Thanks, Dan.

The mustang had to go so I would have money to pay my bills while I am out of school/work and layed up recovering from my surgery that's coming up. Probably gonna have to sell the truck, too. I'll be back in the modded muscle car game soon, though.

I'd love another cobra but instead I'm gonna go the cheaper route and get another F-bod. I'm predicting heads/cam/clutch/nitrous/12-bolt/nittos in my future.

Very impressive car you got there, looks very clean too. What kind of exhaust do you have on it? Sounds REALLY nice, even before you got into the boost.
