How do you have you video camera mounted in your car?
Im trying to have a video camera mounted in my Formula, but dont know which route to go. Can someone point me in the right direction as to form where I can purchase a video camera mount for inside the vehicle?
Also, what do you all use for you out of vehicle shots? I want to mount my camera outside showing the road ahead and the front wheels.
Trying to make a video of a long road course, and think it would be awesome to capture multiple angles.
Thanks.

speed engineering makes a few different knids of mounts. one is a suction cup you put on the windsheild but if youre looking to point at your front wheels be prepared to fork out some money. first you need the mount which aint cheap and then you need one of those tiny cmaeras that are like 800 bucks that weigh like 2 lbs

I do have the camera, just need the mount. I actually plan on using 3 to 4 cameras to capture everything I need/want. I want the video to reflect the rear end coming loose on turns in relation to the front tires, how the car just slides sideways, etc. I dont want to get too far ahead of myself, but once I finish it the final product will be worth it.
Couldnt find anything on their website.

Here's the mount I use, it's a little pricey, I kinda wish I had gone with the chasecam system, and probalby will in the future because if your camera is old at all and you put it in a 7, 8 or 9 second car it cuts the camera out

You know, put the tripod between the seats and the 3rd one put it on top of the thing that is in the middle of the seats like shorter than the other 2.

You just want to take a video right, and thats what you should care about not how it looks, IF you want it to look good get a roll bar/cage And then the camera stand, $800 bux at the end worth it though
