the guy that was hit was probably in shock, and had some adrenaline pumping. thats why he wanted to get up.
The cop played it smart by making sure he stayed still, Spine and neck injuries can be weird, you wont feel pain but when your body shifts the broken spine/neck can screw up nerves and leave you paralyzed. but it looks like he was alright might just have to deal with a nasty bruse.

Than he went over to check to see if the guy was ok and told him not to move and the parametics was on the way.
than he was watching the guys he just aprehended.
He was mutlitasking, I think he did a good job on the situation.
You don't want the people who hit the biker to leave, at the same time he called for a parametic and while he's watching the guys in the firebird until backup arrived.
I think he did a fine job.

i didnt have my speakers on so i dodnt know what he was saying. i know i would have calle for back up and told them to park like he apparently did but i would have went voer and sat with the guy and kept him calm and reassure him it was gonna be ok

That sucks. Something kinda simmilar happened to me. Im 17 and have one of the higehest performance quads on the market and so does my friend (YFZ450 and TRX450R). So me and my buddy had to race there was alot of **** talking before hand and I felt pretty confident. I ran him once and one then we were staging from the back of my yard and he hit my jump in 3rd and then let off before the jump so the front dived and he got tossed and the quad actually hit him and he was out cold. I thre my helmet off and I could just hear him moan it scared the **** out of me.
