easily build a low 10second car for under $20k....... to get a car to do 250mph im sure it can be done with a street car. for much less then 1.3million....

old now but yea dude i love fbodies but you cant get a normal production car modded to do a 250mph topspeed that gets to 200 in like 14seconds pal its just not the same its a f**king bugatti for christ sake dont wine just be in awe of a great car

be in awe of a great car....... a great car is the c6 z06..... its actually attainable.... and guess what...... its only a half second behind the $1,300,000+ super car in the 1/4 mile with a good driver....... wow yeah be in awe.......

..... i would be affraid of driving the car hard..... 1. the bitch cost so much 2. fixing it would cost as much as the car, where as the z06 you could throw around all day.... have more fun (RWD), take it autocrossing, take it on a road coarse, take it to the drag strip and wont have pay $50,000 for a clutch if you toast it........

c6 z06- 10.8 @ 130mph $70,000 & 200mph top speed....
Buggatti-10.4 @ 143mph $1,300,000 & 253mph top speed.....

throw an APS TT kit & good tire on the z06 and guess what you can keep your buggatti..... it would prolly do 220 to 230mph with the APS kit on it.....

or what about JOE'S TT FORD GT??????? thats a hell of alot more attainable then a buggatti....... he would waste a buggatti.......

im sorry im a realist but the buggatti such an unattainable car and once again..... where in the states are you gonna do 253mph????

any of those modded cars would overheat or blowup after so much time. and none were made to sustain such abuse and high speeds for a long time. yea, you could probably squeeze 220mph+ but for how long? things will start to fly off the car since it wasn't designed for that speed. bugatti is a stock driver car engineered to be driven daily as desired and take the abuse throughout it's life.

There is a difference between a corvette and a million dollar car... personally, if I had to choose one of the two.. It would have to be the million dollar car... you don't see many of those cruising around. I guarantee the girls will flock to the Veyron just a LITTTTLE bit faster

umm... not quite... if u stay at buggattis top speed for too long youll be dead. the tires cant take the stress. its a neat car but it was nothing more than an engineering exercise. besides... its ugly as sin.

That's true. The tires can only handle top speed for 15 minutes. However, you don't have to worry about it since the gas tank will be empty in less than 12 minutes.

Something else to remember is that this car is geared to go 253 miles per hour yet it still does a 10 sec. quarter mile. Considering the gearing for that top speed...that's pretty good. I'm sure with 1001hp on tap and some stickier tires a 7-8 sec. quarter mile time isn't out of reach with the right gearing. I'll bet it still would go 200mph+ as well.

It's a good point about the gearing. However, I believe that 8's would be a real strech with 1k fwhp. 7's are probably out of the question.

A. That car isn't made to be driven. It is a status thing. Why do u think the majority of all the exotic cars are owned by the filthy rich? And why they all have extremely low milage. You buy it, you park it and let people gauk over it. Then go and pull a shallow minded, gold digging hottie and PIIHB. Mission accomplished.

And B. Cause the manufactor can claim they are the fastest. If that car was as much as 3M $ someone would have bought it.

Going 253 mph is one thing..
Going 253 mph that feels like 50 mph is another things. STOPPING in time is another thing. Interior and comfort is another thing. Going 253 mph and being reliable is another thing. Going 253 in a stock car with a warranty is another thing. Increasing in value is another thing. If you can't afford it doesn't mean you have to hate on it. There is a reason why each one of those cost 10 mil to make and which is why it won't be dethroned any time soon. Yeah porsche 9ff whatever might go 254, but will it stop, will it be safe..same thing can be said about your vette. I don't hate vettes by the way..

If I was a billionaire I would get one of those instead of 10 vettes and easily instead of an Enzo. Some people actually do drive them and already wreck them.

Yeah I can't think of a better daily driver thats 100% streetable, comfortable and hookable 1000 hp whenever desired.
