So my buddy has a 91 Mustang GT notchback which he has had dyno'd at over 500 RWHP. His car weighs a TON lighter than mine, plus I had a passenger on board, so we thought we'd play around to see what would happen. The actual dig sucked, as he took off only after the 2nd beep, and then I spun. The results were pretty obvious after I hooked up though Let me know what you guys think.

Thanks for the compliments everyone.

I do have a HUD in the car. I bought it years ago from LPE, and just over the summer put it in. It's kind of ugly sitting on top of the dash, but those times where I want to see the actual MPH over 150, or display my RPM without looking down at the dash, it is perfect.

This particular run against the stang was actually the fastest I have had the car while it was supercharged. By the time I let off the gas, and looked at the HUD, it read 178

Not knowing electrics that well, I tried numberous well known (on this board even) performance shops who one after another turned me down saying they didn't feel confident in their ability to get the install done correctly.

Finally a buddy of mine and me decided to just tackle it ourselves. It took about 4 hours, and one of the 4 inch thick GM manuals, but we got it done correctly.

awesome run, but what mods are done to the Stang besides the Vortech,because as soon as one of the Stang guys on the board see's this video they're gonna pull the old "you had more cubic inches" card out.

I could always play the "he weighs 800 less pounds than I do" card as well. Not to mention he left after the 2nd honk, I had a lousy takeoff, and I had a passenger on board

I know he is running a Vortec (T-Trim I believe) supercharger, AFR heads, E-cam (I believe) full exhaust, electric fans, cobra intake, pullies, no-airconditioning or spare tire (minor weight reduction), and has dyno'd at over 500 RWHP. Past those mods, I am not sure what else he has had done.
