I was gonna post that it looked like some place in the bay area but, then it says bayarea.org in the vid so Im guessing it definetly was. Definetly a bad *** sube to hang with the big dog terminator and blaze a low 12sec rx7.

bless their hearts for racing on a high traffic highway. id be scraping pieces of their faces of the rear bumper of my truck if they ever rear-ended me at those speeds. id be none too happy about it either.
but for the op's sake... sweet cars. looks like the WRX rolls out pretty good.

What I thought was pretty cool is the fact that it is a WRX and not the STI version. He had to put alot of work into that Subie. Both bad *** cars, but for some reason. I think I would take the Subie over the Stang. This decision is probably based on my undying dislike for Mustangs. I have never liked them. Ugly no matter what. It was hella fast, but still ugly.

i feel like i live with a movie star. that pile o cobra is right outside my window haha. and yes that was the stock motor w/ 10-11psi/ 91 octane.. WRX built motor GT35r 28-29psi. my roommate in the cobra is 275lb + as well as my fat *** in there for the race. it was a lot of fun. but the reason for one of the runs that looked close was a 1st gear start with 4.10s before we swapped back to the 3.55s. If you search youtube for twin turbo cobra, you can see him race a gutted ls1 with a blower too. And traffic wasnt as bad as you think, we had open lanes everytime.

He's definitely hopin for the rematch. But the WRX has had its share of problems as well as the cobra. Dan is the owner of the rex, cool guy. Power im not too sure on the WRX, i would have to guess 380-400awhp at the time. Im sure a lot more now. Cobra was around 600ish on simple tune up. Hoping for a 4 digit number in the next month...... Then back to the east bay terrorizing.... haha
