Hunting for the specs/mods on the 'vette i tried the search and it let me down like 20 times so i gave up. cause i know someone on here will know directly where to look.
Also, i was interested because on http://www.kookscustomheaders.com/index.php
Their main page has the sound from that video playing, and i wanted to know if it's actually a car equipped with their exhaust.![The Jester](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_jest.gif)
Thanks,
-Anthony

Yep...
That clip was taken from a video I posted about two years ago shortly after installing the 383 in the car that I discussed in various threads on this board in great length (the build, engine dyno testing of various components, and ultimately the chassis dyno data).
The ironic part is the headers in that sound clip are not Kooks at all....although I did run Kooks headers (and LG) back when I had my 346 stock short with the AFR heads....that goes back about four years ago at this point.
The bottom line is I have swapped various manufacturers headers on my car in search of more power in both of the combinations Ive featured (a new one on the way). The engine combination itself and exhaust system as a whole (and primarily the type of catback IMO) determine and distinguish the exhaust note....header type and brand have very little to do with it. At least thats been my experience (assuming the rest of the system remained the same).
Regards,
Tony
