He sold me a Moser 12bolt rearend for $1339.00 and he told me in the agreement that it was ready to be shipped, so I sent the money. Three days later, I emailed him to find out if the product was shipped and he said"I'm waiting for mine to get shipped in so i can swap them out suposed to be here friday" I told him I needed to know when will it be shipped, because my car is in the shop waiting on the rear end.He said it will most likly ship on saturday.So 6 days later I emailed him again to see if he shipped it out yet and he said that he could not give me a date because he may have to send the replacement rearend back because it did not fit. He stated that the problem is that he used my money to buy his new rear end. I told him I did'nt like how this is looking and that the rearend was supposed to be ready to ship when I paid him and now he is saying it's still on the car and he does not know when it will ship. I stated that this is his problem and not mine, so please send me my money back.He told me to hold on and he will get back to me. I stated that I need my money back asap and that he should have told me that the rearend was still on the car before he sold it to me.He said ok since you can't wait I will send you your money back as soon as I can. Three days later I still don't have my money and he won't reply back to any of my emails.


This happen about a month ago. I reported him to paypal and they got $1013 of my money back, but he still owes me $325.Some thing needs to be done to stop this guy from scamming anybody else.

Why only $1013? not the whole amount? Isn't that what paypal is for?

 

i guess if he doenst have the full amount, they cant give you a full refund, just partial?

 

i think thats the rear end i was gonna buy, but he said he lived in cali and his profile said indiana , so i didnt seem he was legit, sorry for the troubles

 

yea if he doesnt have the full amount in his paypal account they can only refund up to the full amount in his account balance...that sucks though man but at least you got some of the money back...

 

Something needs to be done to this scammer. Personally I'd a probably banned him after what he tried to pull on Bynun Speed.

 

They said that they are still working on getting me the rest of it and was taking action against the seller.So there may still be hope.

 

You should call the local police department where he lives and report this at once! Man I hope this works out for you!

 

That ********, also known as firebirdformulaTA on here, scammed me for $50.00. His broke *** didn't even have the money in his account for paypal to refund.
I don't see why both those accounts haven't been banned. Course he'll just make up another one.

 

I like the way you think. I do have his address and phone # now and I have something Im working on but dont want to say at this time but I will keep you posted.

 

Here's a PM I got from him last night. I guess he has my $50.00 now that he scammed you out of $1300.00.

tim n dickson will both get thier money back. . . im sorry they had to go through this. the window motors i just kept putting off.... the rearend i ran into money issues... and he just got caught in the middle because the money he paid me was withdrawn from my bank acct that i have hooked up to paypal...

 

no i had to do that because of you.... you would go into my posts that dont even pertain to selling anything and post the same thing i can understand in the ones i sold things in... its not much of a scam if they get thier money back anyhow... but anyways there was no scamming involved you guys do what you want but you will be getting your money back....
