^^?? She asked if it would be cool. I wouldn't buy a shift light. He's not running at the track and trying to hit every gear perfect so I don't see the need in it.

100 something? that is pretty expensive, but coach purses are 300 and up. At least thats the only thing she likes that is expensive.

your an amazing g/f... not only are you buying car stuff for him, but your taking it to the next level and really trying to get something he will like....
anyways...
my vote.....
lid, cutout, fuel rail covers, and a strut tower bar...
he will get a little more power, a little sound, and will clean his engine bay up..
lid- new 100$.. or used 60-70$... i would just buy him a really nice used one..
cutout- not sure new, used you can get them for around 30$ i would also just get a used one for this also.. just make sure it doesnt have rust or anything like that on it..
fuel rail covers- 75$ used.. no reason to buy new... just make sure it isnt broke or any major defects..
strut tower bar- not sure used, anywhere from 40-85$ used... if it has any scratches or is not the color he wants, all he has to do is spray paint it(5$)
if you want any of that stuff.. just let me know, i will find it for you and give you the links..
