Question normal?

gas pedal all the way down....still a decent size gap(at least to me) between the body n stop...noticed the cable was a little loose....is this normal??? :headscratch:

No,that is not normal.You have a problem somewhere.Take the cable off the TB and see if it goes back all the way to the bump stop. If it don't then you need to clean the TB if it does you have a cable problem.

That would be an easy way to improve throttle response and performance. Fix that sneaky cable...

if you can put your foot to the floor and still open the TB by hand then yes. you have a problem somewhere. were you wondering why your car felt slow ?

now how do i adjust the cable?....lol...can it be adjusted at the pedal?

You need to clean that TB and grind that bump stop down so the throttle blade opens up more .I don't know where the adjustment is or if there is one.

there are little black clips that you have to pry the top off of and then adjust the cable itself by pushing in or out then pushing the top back on the cable to lock it. just look at your cables and follow them till you see these black square things in your throttle body. i just stuck a exhaust manifold on my gas pedal then went under the hood and adjusted until it WOT.

my cable goes from the throttle body straight to the fire wall...idk...

the first thing i'd do is find out why its out of adjustment in the first place. the pedal or firewall is bent or something. or you've got an empty beer can stuck behind your pedal.
