Problem with Headers???

Problem with Headers??? I bought a pair of headers from a member on here. They are kooks stepped style headers. 1-3/4 - 1-7/8. My question is why are the ends cut? They look like C's at the end. Do they come like this? Here is a pic.

Ok all thank you for the comments, i got kinda worried when i first got them, i thought i got suckered. But i guess its not a problem now, Thank you all
