Default Problem with Headers???

I bought a pair of headers from a member on here. They are kooks stepped style headers. 1-3/4 - 1-7/8. My question is why are the ends cut? They look like C's at the end. Do they come like this? Here is a pic.

i think thats to make installation a bit easier. my pacesetters didnt have any holes cut and i had no problems.

yeah, thats no big deal. It might be so you can install one bolt and hang the header from it while installing the others? I dont know. It wont hurt anything though.

yeah its for installation im guessing, check the website and see if they are like that on there. if not it was something the owner did to make things easier?
