did the 02 z28 come with an aluminum driveshaft or steel its an a4 btw

Just look.......

2.73 gears = steel

3.23 or 3.42 = aluminum

ok i had 2 73's if I switch to an aluminum would it do any good cause im putting 373s in soon in stead of my 410s

It won't be a noticeable gain. The steel is stronger.

Sounds like one good way to find out

The aluminum will absorb a little more noise/vibrations than the steel. I snapped an aluminum DS on non-drag street tires though if that tells you anything. That was with an M6 though. I've heard the stock steel ones can break easily too. If you go aluminum I would suggest getting an aftermarket one like a PST.

if your going to run the **** out of it or race steel is
better in my opinion.
already twisted mine and i'm not making anywhere near
the rwhp some people claim here
