Default AIR removal help

How do you get off the little thing where all the pipes meat on the drivers side of the intake manifold near the back? I got the pump out no problem, only disconected one wire harness and I cut the tubes off with a set of pruners lol. My car is an 02 I've heard its more difficult on these cars compared to 98,99

I don't quite remember but I'm pretty sure there is a bolt back there somewhere. Look around really good to make sure you didn't miss one, feel around the base too and see if you feel a bolt.

I got the thing off pretty much just broke it off on accident, but I cant find the vacuum line that is supposed to be plugged, I started the car and nothing weird happend. What does the line look like? how big is it? Is it the tiny little black hose that came off the diverter?

It's the only one back there that you can feel air sucking through while the car is running. It's a pretty small vacuum line, I put a screw in it to plug it so that should give you some idea of the size

if u didnt plug the line, it would be a vacuum leak. it is kinda tricky to find and hard to get to with the manifold on the car just follow the vacuum line frm the a/c box

Here ya go:

I think this is the vacuum line you're talking about. It doesn't cause a huge leak or anything like that but it's still a leak.

Ok now I see what y'all are talking about, I did'nt think that was the one because mine is still attached to something. Can I just leave it alone or should I pull it off and cap it?

While we're talking about it, in the pics I posted above, what the hell is that thing with the blue cap on it? It looked as if the vacuum liine is coming out of whatever that is.
