5 speed manual I was wondering could somebody tell me if a 5 speed camaro trainy would work with a 99 ls1 motor in a 69 camaro. If so do i need to adapt the shifter to fit in the orig. shifter hole.

Which 5-speed?
Not sure if any stock GM 5-speed would hold up well with an LS1.
