overkill?? okaay so my car is 400 whp with a ls6 intake 222/222 563 563-114 cam with patriot stage 2 ls6 heads......what im thinkin is i want to go to a fast 92/92 and im wondering if that will be overkill for the power im making? will it be soggy down low? anyone who knows or was making simular power who switched to this setup please chime in thanx.....
i think it would be worth it, but i guess it depends on what else is done to the car.
you'll def gain power up top, should not lose any down low, although you may not gain much.
i gained good power below 5000rpm on my 400rwhp cam only setup...i was surprised.
but you could also spend the money towards things like suspension and driveline upgrades to handle the power....unless you already have those.

yea only thing is i have 222 563 now, and i have 59cc heads so they said that the biggest cam that will fit is upper 220's and high 590's so with install im lookin at a grand, anyone think its worth it? how much power to be added?

Yes, if it is properly ported. Call tony mamo at AFR. He ported mine and I am very happy with it. Porting makes a big difference IMO, and dyno sheets have proven it on other cars.

as well as 5-10hp and torque from 3000+
even a small cam, with the added flow potential of the ported heads he'll def pick up some power.
