Ok I have a 99 Z28 with Borla catback and I bought a dmh electric cutout with flowtech pipe... I am taking it somewhere tommorow to be installed and am not sure where to tell them to place it. Where have you guys placed your cutouts on the exhaust system (specifically)? Any problems? How does it work with the flowtech pipe? Do they just cut out a portion of the existing pipe and weld that into that place? Thanks

I put mine on the I-pipe and its a big differece. itll be real loud

I remember reading on here that a member put a cutout on his borla and with the open plates he didn't gain any hp from the cutout...I'd rather put that electric cutout where the plates go that way you can make it really really quite or loud

t have all the plates and its on the middle section so...

yea i believe so if you are running the muffler on the ipipe that is.

mine is in the same spot as yours right now but this weekend im going to be putting a borla xr1 on the ipipe so im gonna have to move my cutout a little back for it to fit
