+10, 80% of the people on this site have pacesetters, including me. They are a great price and offer great gains, as do all longtube headers anyways but yea. I got my pacesetters coated with TSP ORY for $500 shipped. You just cant ******* beat that ****.. its almost idiot proof to go with them.

Got SLP headers on our 00 (Bought the car that way) and DAMN do they hang low. Pick up a set of Pacesetters (low budget) or ARH, and kooks if your looking to spend some money, and you should be just fine.. Pacesetters are easy to install, and tuck up very well. Just watch your y-pipe.

I had Edelbrock shorties on my car when the H/C was installed (PRC 5.3's,224/228 114+2) and the car put out 393 on the dyno, I swapped to pacesetters and high flow cats and it went up to 425. 30+ RWHP for $350, cant beat that.

I had a big discussion on this as well, I'm still not sure how I feel. Check out this thread - https://ls1tech.com/forums/new-ls1-o...y-headers.html

Op is going to loose probably 30+RWHP going with shorties. WTF dude if your still stock ride height get LT's! The only LT that was bad as far as I know were the old SLPs. Spend 350 bucks and get some pacesetters you will enjoy the extra power!
