Default Are there any cheap LS1s out there?

Hey everybody, I just got my old 86 T/A back from another member of the family and am kinda interested in stuffing an LS1/T56 into it. Are there any good places out there to find some cheap eng/tranny combos or even separate? Thanks in advance for any info.

Look in the parts for sale section or on e-bay would probably be your best bet. Or are you lookin for new or rebuilt?

I don't mind if it's used so long as it does not have a lot of miles and it is not damaged in any way.

If you're considering a swap into an older car, I would suggest finding a totalled ls1 car. That way, you can pull the engine/trans, but you also have access to all sensors, wiring, computer, accessories, fuel system, or anything else that is still functioning after the wreck. All that little stuff really adds up to your swap if you have to buy it seperate.
