Seen a Auto car on here w MS4 cam, afr 225s milled to 59cc, flysut pistons and a fast 92/92, full exhaust and tune put down 470whp
My MS4 intake and exhaust puts down 430whp...stock heads

A ported Fast 90/90 will out shine a LS1 or LS6 intake manifold anyday. Now if your comparing a ported fast 90/90 to a ported LS6 with a 85mm TB on it then the diff is only around 10-15 rwhp as Lemons stated a couple posts back. And just my .02 cents anyone who brags about doing things in real life doesn't really do them from my experience.

Usually 600+Rwhp is when you start the time bomb (as long as everything was in good condition previously).. Under 600Rwhp you can usually last for a good little bit.. I know a guy that did a H/C swap and was putting down around 450rwhp.. Threw a rod in a matter of weeks.

The ls6 can hold its own (especially with smaller cams).. But when you start talking about revving an engine (anything above 5900rpms) the ls6 just cant cut it and thats where a 9090 REALLY out shines it..

EDIT: as i said, im new and learning, we all start somewhere and this thread was created after reading through several posts and wanting to get a general idea of things.... the LID was the first thing i have actually done to the car... previous to this i have no experience with F-bodies and very little experience with the performance side of engines...

Find someone that is willing to help you when you need it and shoot them a PM when you get stuck on something.. make sure it isnt someone who will call you and idiot and laugh at you in the PM.. as im sure they will do it later at the BBQ over a beer..
