Look through the A&D or P&BW sections. I saw a thread earlier where he linked to another site and most people had problems with them. Some needed excessive prep work and others were wavy after said prep. Others could see the fibers showing through after a month or so. I'll look for the thread in a minute and see if I can find it.

I have a Trufiber hood and its awesome. When i test fit it, it fit well and when i took it to the body shop they said it was well made and didnt require too much prep. I would defenatley buy on again.

Didn't find it. They said the first batch sucked but the second was better but not great but the third was about to come out. Maybe LCPl has a third batch hood.

Default After market hood

Thanks for the reply, I'll watch out for that when it gets here. As for your problem did you turn the bumpper's all the way down to start or leave them?
Don't know for sure I'm not a hood fitter but could make a difference.
Thanks Mark

just so you guys know, you should get new rods to hold the hood down from a different car or with less psi. since your car had the metal hood they are made to hold up the heavy metal hoods that came on your cars so its putting to much pressure on the fiberglass hood.

I didn't think about that! I thought he has talking about hood bumps, so the rods need to be from or for a WS-6 car or SS? Thanks!

Right. You can do that or just get new ones with a lower psi matching the as or ws6 rods

I wish I would have known about trufiber when I had my LT1 when i converted my hood and intake to the ws6 they seem to be really legit for the price.
