Default seafoam question

I did a search and I found nothing regarding seafoam...how well does seafoam work? Which one do you usually get the deep clean or the normal motor treatment? and how do you pour it in? through the pcv pipe? and finally is it worth it?

Through the vacuum hose that goes to the brake booster, motor oil, and gas tank But do it before a oil change because you gotta change the oil within 250 or so miles.

Seafoam is good....about as good as water.....and water is free.

Take tap water and slowly introduce it into the intake the same as Seafoam. Don't go too fast and hydrolock your motor (Seafoam or water). The steam works just as well at cleaning carbon off of the guts of the motor.

LOL

Water has been an accepted combustion chamber cleaner for many many years. You do it a little diferent that MCCC or seafoam. You need to try to atomize it as your motor ingests it. back in the days of carburators you would put a liter of water in a spray bottle and rev the motor up to 2K-2.5K RPM and spray it directly above the carburator so the mist gets sucked in.

*** Don't pour anything in your oil ***

Seafoam ia a lightwieght mineral oil. You are thinning out your oil. The additional black you see is the tar left over from burning the seafoam, not gunk from the motor. Modern oil should not form sludge.

Well I just bought the car and I want it to run 100% before I start modding it. Well I don't know, but I will never even let water get near the engine besides the coolant...
