Default Water Pump on 5.7L

Looks like mine is leaking a little. How hard are these to change on LS motors (5.7L)?? Pretty straight forward or is there something special to know about these? Worked on a lot of cars (mostly old school stuff) but have never put a wrench to one of these yet. Looks like I am gonna learn to though.

Pull the airbox, drain radiator pull hoses and unbolt....It is one thing that is easy on these cars I don't remember the torque specs but I have them laying around if you want.....

What is the benefit to this??? Better cooling?

I am assuming these cars are DEXCOOL. Is this correct?

Sorry Fellas; I am still a newb to the site and I just found the GENERAL MAINT AND REPAIR section. I would have posted there if I had seen it.

Thanks for help with the dumb questions.
