First I would suggest some kind of air lid (TSP,Direct Flow, MTI) they are all about the same. After that I would defiantly go with a TC(torque converter) A TC is hands down the best mod for an A4, with traction you will be able to gain as much as .7.I would defiantly not go lower than a 3500 stall, you will also need a transmission cooler and a shift kit would not hurt. Check out the Automatic Transmission forum for more info pertaining to converters. Good Luck man

Listen to onbadz. That's good advice right there. The Flowmaster catback is horrible unforunately. The good thing is that you have a cutout so you'll bypass it.

Here's what I would do:

1. Lid
2. Tires
3. Nitrous
4. Converter
5. Headers
6. Cam

Some type of boost kit would work also if you have the money.

TC( w/tranny cooler), Lid, Headers, Cam

What are your plans for your car???
That and your budget would help us more.
These are the normal cheap bolt on mods.

I had a Hotchkis STB and I don't think it did much of anything to be honest. My game is more straight line performance, but I'll hit some tight corners here and there.

I think the only thing my STB did for me is make it look neat in the engine bay. Get you a PT-4200 from Yank a set of ET streets and knock a second off of your et. Good Luck

Also IMO I would stay away from nitrous until you get your basic bolt ons. You will notice that the nitrous will be more effective with the bacis. Good Luck
