Stock plastic grille removal.
Im looking to take that black plastic peice out of the grille, i notcied that the fron clip is closed off under the car. are there bolts on the back of it that hold it on, do you have to go through the top to get these?

they are all plastic little bolts but they can be stuborn. I just 'yanked' mine out carefully (if thats possible). I would avise caution in doing it though.

Ok thanx. Sounds simple enough! put rope through grille attach other end to tree, put it in reverse and floor it. Hey this is a good write up we should save this!

Believe it or not, there's a special little tool for these plastic fasteners. If you don't have it, you can very gently, use a standard head screw driver and a pair of needle nose pliers. After their out, clean them up in the sink with a detergent and a parts cleaning brush. After they're dry, use some Prestone dry film silicon lube spray. They'll never be tough to remove ever again.

Bah, these are sure-fire, test-proven, safe (at least so far anyway) methods! Anything can be fixed with the proper amount of force applied....

You could fix this with an aftermarket grille insert frow Wings West, I love my WW grille, the stock one would be nice with the holes filled but the holes are defiantly an eyesore. Good Luck

The holes are about 1"x1", not that bad IMO looks better than the stock black piece. You might wanna check out Afterthoughts or MBA I feel sure they sale the billet grille. IMO the billet grille looks good but looks kinda truck like. But if you like it it's all good. Good Luck
