Default who has a ws6store short stick?

i have the factory non-hurst shifter and ive gone through 2 stock shifter sticks. pieces of ****

ws6store has a warning that their short stick might hit the center console or something in the even gears...anyone experience this?

also, if you have one did you get the 6in or the 6.5in?

thanks

I had the 6" on my LT1 and loved it. I had the stock LT1 ball and it was very close but didn't hit. I think the ***** with a tail are more prone to hitting.

you will not be disappointed by the short stick. It made the stock hurst shifter feel 100% better.

I have a 6.5 short stick. Heres the issue, the 6inch shortstick DOES NOT hit the console IF you have a hurst shifter, it WILL if you have a normal shifter. If you have a hurst shifter, get the 6inch and you will be fine, if you have a normal shifter get the 6.5inch. Thats why they have 2 sizes.

I had the Hurst (I know, different, but whatever), and with the short stick, it was notchy as hell. It wasn't bad, but I switched to a B&M Ripper shorty after.

I had a 6.5in on a normal shifter and it was alright. The best advice i can give you though is save up and get the mgw shifter its WELL worth it.

I have the 6 inch on a stock shifter. It used to hit the back of the console and painfully pinch my fingers at times if I didn't hold it right. I swapped my clutch and transmission mount and got a Flameball shifter ball. Now it doesn't hit.

I have a stock Hurst shifter and had my 6'' WS6 Store short throw for over a year and a half now. Never gave me any problems, love the feel over stock. Well worth the price, when I bought it, it was $26 I believe.
