Default WS6 Ram Air Turbo

What's it generally cost to have the turbos (turbines?) rebuilt?

WS6 cars did not come with turbos....or SS cars for that matter. but a turbo is never a bad idea

Sorry, I am a fool.

Did the RAM-AIR have any affect on the MPG?

This is my laughter for 12:30 right now. sorry

No turbos on these cars homie
Get a SRT-4 or some type of volvo if you want that ****
Or you can talk to a nice sponsor on here about adding a turbo which can get you anywhere from an extra 50-500hp more. Would cost at least 10k to get a nice turbo kit going, unless you get a eGaa...Bay one and then your just S.O.L. cuz that **** will kill ur engine if you use the turbos because they are ineffiecent and made in little villages instead of a qualified, clean, perfessional facility where each unit is inspected and ran to insure no blades will crack or come apart and end up inside ur engine (last place you would want that ****)

rebuilds on turbos could cost anywhere from a couple hundred bucks to a couple thousand though depending on what is wrong or damaged just FYI incase you were really wondering.

These ram air turbines you are hearing about are really just the driver going faster than 70-80mph and it allowing a greater increase of air into the intake manifold resulting in more power on tap and better fuel economy (maybe 2-3mpg) depending on how you drive.

So start spooling that baby up and hit the gas!!!!

Canon Powered Video, are you in the market for a WS6? Because if so, you will not have to worry about rebuilding any factory turbos. I say if you are in the market you should definitely buy an LS1 and then decide what modifications you would like to throw at it, whether it be a turbo, supercharger, or just bolt-ons.

He can get an LS1 car, and then he can pay me to rebuild the turbos.

I have good rates on turbo rebuilds.

well you have to rebuild the flux capacitor first, then the headlight fluid, then the muffler bearings. THEN you can rebuild your turbo, but make sure you have an aluminum pen magnet first, those are vital for a turbo rebuild.

Hey NeedaV8, why don't we work together and cut this guy a deal. Say... $4800 rebuild package. When we're done it should run low 13s...

I deserve this.

Thanks, buddy!

Now for another n00b question:
Can you take the TA's T56 and put it in an S95 ? (The TA's has .5 ratio in the 6th )

i still dont get where you are going with the whole turbine thing?
and yes you can put a t56 in an sn95, well atleast i know you can in the cobras however it requires a different drive shaft.

if you're gonna throw turbines in there you might want to get the welds strengthened on the intake manifold, you'll also need a new front valance and spoiler for the increased down force and by all means DO NOT forget to put the stickers on the windows!
