It's going somewhere; either leaking, getting into the coolant, or getting into the combustion chamber one of several ways before burning out through the exhaust. There is no where else it could possibily go.

I was going to say its common to burn some oil, but a quart every few hundred miles is a lot! I burn about a quart every 3-5 thousand miles.

The car runs perfect, no smoke, even under heavy accelaration there is not a poff of smoke, no leaks everything is dry under the car, its park'd on cement, and there is never no oil spots, no oil in the coolant, or is there any kinda of proof of somthing leaking under the hood, everything is nice and tight....is ls-1's just prone to burn more oil?

Look in your throttle body for oil residue. If it is wet you are sucking it up through your PCV system. Also make sure your PCV valve is the new fixed orifice type..... It is a pretty common issue on these cars....

just install'd a slp lid, and there was no sign of oil there, ( very clean and dry)

this is what i was leaning to... i would recommend you get a catch can too ... you can also do the ls6 pcv conversion to help out with the oil consumption

1 quart every ~300 miles is pretty significant oil useage. I doubt it's a simple PCV issue alone.

I missed that part.........

Wat do plugs look like???? Might be time for a compression test or better a leakdown.....

What is done to the car? Is it stock or modded? That is a lot but if you beating the **** out of a modded car I could see a significant use of oil. More then likely you have a ring that is not seated and is leaking. Try the compression test on the cylinders and go from there.

My car is cam only and I burn a quart about every 1500 miles

That probably won't make any difference, since you mentioned this:

If you don't see oil in the intake, then it's not getting in through the PCV system and the LS6 PCV conversion will do nothing to improve your oil consumption.

I agree with the guys that say compression or leakdown test. Or both.

For sure do a compression and leak down test. Something is very wrong for you to be burning that much oil.
